Thank you for taking the opportunity to sample our new Breath Mints and provide feedback! Before you try them, we wanted to provide a little information on why our mints are different. Our ingredient list includes nano hydroxyapatite, a building block of enamel.
Breath Mint Ingredients
Xylitol, Gum Arabic, Erythritol, Flavor, Magnesium Stearate, Hydroxyapatite, Calcium Acetate, Carnauba Wax
Xylitol is a natural sweetener derived from birch trees or plant fiber. Xylitol helps maintain oral health and may reduce the risk of cavities.
Gum Arabic is a natural gum derived from a variety of trees. It is used to stabilize the breath mints.
Like Xylitol, Erythritol is a natural sugar alcohol derived from plants and is a great addition to maintaining healthy teeth. Frequent use of erythritol may reduce the risk of developing cavities.
Natural peppermint oil adds a refreshing flavor and freshens breath.
Magnesium stearate is an ingredient used widely in the food industry as a binding agent. It helps maintain the shape and structure of the breath mints.
Hydroxyapatite is a naturally occurring form of calcium phosphate that makes up as much as 70% of bone and is the main mineral in tooth enamel.
As part of CariFree’s proprietary pH+ technology, Calcium Acetate is used as a pH buffer, boosting the salivary pH to create an inhospitable environment for cavity-causing bacteria.
Carnauba wax is a natural stabilizing agent, offering protection from melting and spoilage.
