FAQs
FAQs

Does CariFree Gel 1100 contain any animal ingredients?

No, there are no animal-based ingredients in the CariFree products.

What is the source of glycerin?

Our glycerin is derived from palm.

What is the source of starch?

Our starch is made from corn.

What are the natural flavors listed in the ingredients?

Our natural flavoring in the mint Gel 1100 is spearmint oil.

What is the source of silica?

Our silica is precipitated silicon dioxide (mineral).

What concentration of nano-hydroxyapatite is used?

While we don’t release final concentrations of our formulas, our company focuses on quality and size, as studies show that the most bioavailable size of nano-hydroxyapatite particles are 20 nanometers, and rod-shaped particles are the safest and vital for remineralization. Our gels use high-grade, rod-shaped particles that present a length of <50nm and width of <10nm to ensure effective remineralization. Since 2012, we have used nanoXIM by FLUIDINOVA in our products, the only nano-hydroxyapatite globally recognized and approved for oral care by the European Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety.

Why do you use fluoride with nano-hydroxyapatite instead of n-HA alone?

Fluoride and nano-hydroxyapatite together create fluorapatite, which is more resistant to demineralization, a huge bonus when the goal is prevention.

What is the source of xylitol?

Our xylitol is made from corn.
